Porsche Targa 4S in GT3 orange

Haven’t posted in a while as we have been so busy, so, here is a special Porsche with a lot of upgrades. It is a Porsche 997 Targa 4S, and it has been finished in GT3 RS Orange, the alloys have also been finished in gloss black with the orange rim line.

The car was booked in for a full paintwork correction detail, wheel off job. We were all looking forward to working with this car as it looks so unique.

Here is the car upon arrival, apart from the dirt, the paint work was not in too bad condition.











Then the usual process was carried out with the wash, starting with the wheels and arches using Swissvax Wheel, and Wheel Brushes. The car was then snow foamed, allowed to cure, and whilst curing all the hinges, fuel filler cap and edges were cleaned using a Swissvax Detail Brush.

Then the car was washed with Swissvax Car Bath.













Then the car was taken inside the detailng bay and the paint work was inspected for swirls and other paint defects.







As you can see it wasn’t too bad, nice to see the car was looked after fairly well. So before the paint correction, we put the car on the ramp, took the wheels off and detailed the wheels on both the inside and outerside and detailed the arches.



The arches were cleaned using Glue and Tar remover as there was a lot of containments in the arches, but that is common, especially for this time of year. The brake calipers were washed again using a detail brush, then Cleaner Fluid was applied followed by a coat of Autobahn. All the plastic lining in the arches were washed and dressed with Swissvax Motor Shine, and finally the exhaust back box wash polished with Metal Polish.





The wheels were treated with Cleaner Fluid and then coated with Autobahn, the tyres were all dressed with Penu.
Then the paint correction process, we used Swissvax Pro as there was not many swirls or holograms in the paint, then applied Cleaner Fluid pre wax oil by hand to all the body work, this was then buffed off and then we applied Swissvax Best of Show, which was allowed to cure whilst the interior was done.

The whole car was vacuumed, seats treated with Leather Cleaner, and all plastics with Plastic Wash.





And then the wax was buffed off to reveal a rather special looking car.
