Paint Correction:
After the car had been fully stripped ofthe old wax and clay barred, I went ahead and took measurements of thepaint. The body read readings of 110 to 120 microns on average and thehard top was anywhere from 240 to 320 microns.

I did a test on the rear driver's rear fender since it was the areathat required the most attention. The solution was one pass withPowergloss on a orange pad then followed up with two passes of SIP on aorange pad and finally one pass with 106fa on a white pad.

Most of paint correction could be rectified with just one or two passesof SIP and one pass with 106fa. One interesting thing that I found outwhile working on this car was the paint was super soft. It was almostas soft as the dreaded Jet Black.

After the paint correction was complete, I wiped down the panels withmy IPA/H2O wipe to ensure that the panels were prepped for the sealantand wax. Now on to the pictures.

Interior: The interior also required a lot of attention, and since thiscar is convertible I imagined that there were be a large of amount ofdust and dirt in cracks and crevices. The first step was to vacuum asmuch of the dirt and dust out of the car as I could. I then went aheadand wiped down with Cockpit Premium and wiped the same area again witha dry MF to pick up any dirt I missed. The next step was then toextract the dirt in the carpet and mats and dress with 303 aerospaceand on to the pictures.
